One of the great things about the age we live in is that you can find just about anything you want online. And that can be a really helpful thing when it comes to remodeling the kitchen in your Naples-area home. Sites like houzz.com and bhgtv.com have tons of great ideas and images to help you see what it’s possible to do in your own home.
There’s only one problem: You don’t live online! We used to hear people say, “Well, it looks good on paper, but it doesn’t work in real life.” A more accurate version of that for today’s homeowner might be: “It looks so good online, but will it work in my house?”
The other thing about looking at things online is that it’s virtually impossible to get a sense for how something feels. It’s one thing to see how a granite countertop looks, and to judge its visual appeal. It’s something else entirely to run your hands over the surface to see if it’s really what you want.
The same is true for hardware and fixtures. Someone can describe a soft-close drawer or door in a kitchen cabinet (or even show you a video), but until you try it for yourself, you really don’t know what it’s like.
That’s one reason we have a physical showroom. It allows you to actually see and touch and experience the materials that will go into your new kitchen. That takes a lot of the wondering (and worrying) out of the choices you’ll be making when it comes to cabinets, flooring, lighting, and hardware.
Of course, you can take a virtual tour of our showroom—just to get an idea of the potential you’ll find. But there’s nothing quite like being there in person and getting that hands-on experience with the material that will transform your current kitchen into the one you’ve always dreamed of having.
That’s why we include a visit to the showroom as part of our consultation before drawing up plans for your new kitchen. Seeing things online is great for collecting ideas and seeing what’s possible. But we live in a physical world, and nothing compares to an up-close-and-personal, first-hand experience!
