3 Designers, 3 Diverse Styles, Endless Ideas

We are so incredibly excited about launching our new Blog!!! This is a way for all three of us, Lyndsey (that’s me), Nichole, and Wanda, to be able to share all of the great ideas, products, and inspiration that we come across as we help our clients design their dream homes.

Each week one of us will bring you a little design “gem” that will hopefully help our readers on the road to a great renovation.

So, who are we and why do we love interior design?

Well, I will let Nichole and Wanda tell you about themselves in their posts. But I can give you some insight into my background, and why I love doing what I do.

My name is Lyndsey Davis, and I have been an interior designer with Reed Design Build for over 7 years. I moved down from Detroit Lyndsey FinalMichigan in 2006 with my husband Brian. I have two beautiful puppies that we spoil rotten. I am my happiest when I am creating great spaces for those around me.

I knew very early on what I wanted to be when I grew up and anyone else could tell too. Every time my Mom came home from work she would trip over a piece of furniture because I had completely rearranged the living room for the 100th time. My childhood hero was Christopher Lowell on TLC, and I would rather go to Lowe’s or Home Depot then Chucky Cheese! So, let’s just say the writing was on the wall.

Now that you have my background, I can tell you my philosophy is that design should be fun. Fun for everyone that is involved with the process. In the end my goal with every project is to walk away knowing that the space I helped create speaks to the person it was designed for.

Our goal with this blog is to show you all the fantastic projects that we are working on and that you enjoy the diverse ideas and inspiration that all three of us will be sharing. I am looking forward to the next post!!!
