Naples Home Remodeling: Expanding Space or Extending Usability?

Maybe the kitchen is feeling a little cramped—with not enough space to cook or entertain. It could be that the family room or living room feels too closed off and cuts off the natural light. Or maybe the whole house seems too “chopped up” and divided into small spaces that make the home feel small.

If you can identify with that, it’s possible that what you need is not more space, but space that gives you more use. You may not need to expand your space, but to extend its usability. Of course to do that may require more than simply replacing your kitchen cabinets or putting more lights in the family room. That’s where a design-build remodeler can really shine. Design-build contractors are trained to look beyond what’s there and to see the potential for what could be there.

If you want to open up your kitchen and dining room area, that may mean eliminating a wall or two. But before you start swinging your sledgehammer, it’s important to know which walls can go and which ones have to stay. It’s also important that there be a design that you’re following so that the space you create is optimized.

If you’d like to get a sense of the difference that can make, click here on our Naples Remodeling Photos and then click on Condo Remodel. You’ll get a first-hand view of how great design and construction can turn dark, cramped spaces into open welcoming rooms.

There are, of course, times when you actually need more physical space. Maybe you want to add a guest bedroom, a sunroom, an extra bathroom, or even a family suite. That, of course is a bigger undertaking, and it’s important that you choose someone you can trust to do it right. Click here for more information about room additions and to download a free Remodeling Road Map that will help you with that kind of project.

Whether you need to make better use of the space you already have in your home—or to add space to your existing home, we’d love to help out with a great design and outstanding execution of that design to make your Naples home even more comfortable.
