Sometimes when people think about remodeling a home, they tend to think exclusively about one-or-two-story houses. Sure, it can make sense to remodel a house, but what if you live in a condominium or a townhome? Is it worth it to remodel that kind of property?
We don’t know about other builders or remodelers, but at Reed Design Build, we can readily say:
We Love Condos!
It can be easy to think that there just isn’t enough room in a condo or a townhome to justify a remodeling project. But that’s where a good design/build remodeler can really shine. We tend to look at things a little bit differently than a lot of remodelers—and frankly, a lot of homeowners.
Where some see only challenges and problems, we see opportunities. As designers, we’re trained to look at space and see not only what’s obvious, but also the potential for what can be.
You may look at images of a beautifully remodeled kitchen and think that it looks great in a larger home—but that you don’t have the space for it in your condominium. That’s not unusual. It can be really hard to look beyond what’s there now (including things such as ceilings and walls) and imagine something completely different. But a good design builder can see behind the scenes as it were—past the drywall and fixtures—to come up with a plan that can give you what you really want.
Can we create a 1,500 square foot kitchen in a 2,000 square foot condominium? That’s probably not realistic (unless you want to sleep in your kitchen, too!). What we can do is maximize the use you get out of the space you have.
Whether you’re looking to breathe new life into the kitchen, master bathroom, family room, or dining area of your Naples-area condo or townhome, we can help. You don’t have to own a big house to enjoy the big impact that a well-designed remodeling project can have on your home.
